The ‘Give Them Wings’ campaign seeks to provide mobility access to specially-abled individuals to help them to study or work or engage in social activities; basically to have access to all kind of daily activities we engage with! In fact, it is our moral duty to break down the barriers which restrict our mobility-disabled brethren. We need to invest sufficient funding and expertise to unlock the vast potential of people with disabilities. Governments throughout the world can no longer overlook the hundreds of millions of people with disabilities who face severe challenges in accessing basic services that many of us have long taken for granted, including health, education, employment, and transport as well as information.

In collaboration with a network of like-minded partners, the ‘Give Them Wings’ campaign aims to distribute about one lakh wheelchairs to people across India, providing renewed dignity, independence, and hope through the gift of mobility, at no cost to the recipient. I am excited to be a part of a team that is transforming lives through the gift of mobility.

“Give Them Wings' seeks to enable mobility-challenged people by giving them the means to move around freely! I am really happy to be part of the initiative as it is a first of its kind! I believe we would able to truly give wings to lakhs of families who are in dire need of our support for their journey of being self-reliant”

Disabled people are often found in the survivalist end of the economy as a result of discrimination and social exclusion existing in the society. Coming from an institution which offers a dedicated course on the learning and empowerment of the disabled people, I was able to understand the plight people with disability has to go through during their life. I'm really happy to be part of this campaign which is aimed at providing support to mobility challenged people across India and I'm sure it will definitely give them wings to be part of this society and to fly higher
